- How has fashion impacted your life.
Response- Fashion has gave me the opportunity to be creative with my wardrobe and has given me a outlet to express my emotions in a non verbal way and that is through my clothes. If fashion did not exist I honestly don’t know what I would do life would just be boring.
2. Describe your style.
Response- I describe my style as a urban sassy type of look i try various types of different styles of fashion so it really hard to narrow down my style. I say this because I am open to trying any type of new or old style.
3. Where do you get your love of fashion from.
Response – I think I get my love of fashion mainly from my mother because she has always been a person who dresses nice and would come up with her own unique outfit. This inspired me to want to do the same and I try my best to follow her footsteps.
4. What is your favorite style of fashion.
Response- If I had to chose my absolute favorite style of fashion it would have to be street wear. I say street wear because I just love the edgy and sassy outfits you are able to come up with when recreating this style.
5. Would you rather wear business or vintage wear.
Response- I think that both of these styles are great and I would wear them both but if had to chose one I think it would be vintage wear. Only because vintage is one of top fashion choices.
6. Where do you usually purchase your clothes.
Response- I purchase my clothes from a lot of different places like Forever 21,Belks, and Macy but i have recently been ordering my clothes from a website called Fashion nova.com.
7. Why do you love fashion.
Response- I love fashion because of it openness and acceptance to new and creative ideas. I feel this makes it easier for people around the world to convey themselves and understands others by dressing different ways.
8. Is fashion a everyday thing or just when you feel like putting on clothes.
Response- Oh I definitely feel like fashion is a everyday thing because just because someone dresses up doesn’t make them fashionable. It when you truly express the way how you feel at the time through your clothes makes you fashionable in my opinion.
9. How does the clothes you define you.
Response- I use the clothes i wear to define me as a free spirited and strong black women that does not let anyone else opinion or standards change the way how I dress. Clothes are a way to tell someone who you are without saying a word and I live by this saying.
10. Do you see your self as a fashion innovator
Response- I definitely see my self as a fashion innovator because I try to develop new and inventive outfits that i think are unique and creative. I go against the normal in order to make what i think looks good and what I feel comfortable in. At the same time other have complimented me on my style and have said it inspires them to be different.
